The Investment Team, part of the Economic Development group of Auckland City Council, offers investors tailored support to make investing in Auckland as easy as possible.
Through its extensive stakeholder and industry contacts, investors can have access to sources of skilled labour, professional services and a range of council services required to make the investment in Auckland successful.

This is how we do it
The team at Auckland City Council’s Economic Development group works on a large number of projects, with the aim of permanently improving Auckland city’s economy and achieving a higher standard of living for all Aucklanders. The group works on International Relations, Investment Attraction, Economic Sectors, and the development of Auckland’s specific business areas. The group also assists in the implementation of open access wireless (WiFi) in open space areas in the CBD.
This project is funded, operated and managed by Auckland City Council and is a free and confidential service.
